A must have for the Kindle owner who is new to gadgets. Great deal of helpful information and nice to have on hand when something unexpected comes up.
awful April 3, 2010 stephen davenport 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
this user guide was full of useless information, obvious thing we already know, and promotions for the publishing company!!!! this is not to mention the annoying and confusing format. i wish i hadnt spentthe quarter and i wish i could give this book 0 stars.
waste of money March 23, 2010 ark76 (Virginia) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
As an excited new owner of a kindle, I was eager to find all the hidden secrets and easy use tips that I would discover in this book. Waste of money. I found very little here that wasn't in the manual and nothing in it that I didn't see later in the message boards. Save your money - which fortunately wasn't much, and your time and go to the kindle discussion boards instead where you will learn from the real experts - all the kindle users.

A very useful purchase. March 14, 2010 Karla Ackerley (Browns Mills, New Jersey United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is worth the 25 cents. It has the some of the same information as the preinstalled kindle user guide, but it simplifies and shortens it. The book also contains several bits of information that aren't even mentioned in the other kindle user guide. Since it has individual sections for kindle 1, kindle 2 etc., you can also learn about them if you ever decide to upgrade. The 25 cents is totally worth it.
