Disclaimer for the Constitution? Social Propaganda at its best June 14, 2010 T. Millican 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Americans are being bombardied with anti-Americanism and pro-socialism.
Remember:
Don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see.
Question with boldness.
The truth will set you free.
Our founding fathers intended for the contstitution to be eternal.
It is only outdated for those who want to "transform America".
Review of reviewers June 14, 2010 Aristotle Hume 0 out of 6 found this review helpful
I get the distinct feeling that 90% of the reviewers here have imported their opinions directly from FoxNews, which is ironic because they are simultaneously outraged by the "editorial" liberties taken by the publisher-- supplied to remind children that the documents they hold in their hands represent the spirit, not the letter, of the law. Or am I mistaken, that black people are now AND should be counted in census efforts as whole human beings instead of 60% of a whole human being? When we say all men are created equal, we should be outraged if someone points out that we now hold it to be self-evident that all people, women included, are created equal, right? Because that would be..awful...detrimental, even... to our rights... as 'MURICANS? Right?!?!?
Outrageous June 14, 2010 Louis F. Spagna (Cullowhee, NC, USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Wilder Publishing's disclaimer that the concepts in this book would not be written today is an insult to every freedom loving person in the world. The fact that the Soviet Union was overthrown peacefully from within in favor of the concepts contained in the documents included in this book shows that these ideas and ideals are very much alive today and as popular as they have always been. This publisher should recall all copies and remove the offensive disclaimer, which by its rejection of the concepts in the documents, itself is an endorsement of oppression, subjugation of free peoples and denial of the most basic human rights.
Constitution with Disclaimer June 13, 2010 R. Briggs (Smartsville, CA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love the constitution. In the past year and a half I have learned so much about it, and what it means. But I am deeply offended that Wilder Publishing would do something as stupid as put a disclaimer in with it? The Constitution is great, Wilder Publishing are a bunch of pinheads. There are many other places and companies to buy pocket constitutions from. I suggest you do so.
Boycott Wilder June 13, 2010 Frank Evans (Milledgeville, GA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Putting a disclamer on a copy of the U.S. Constitution is just beyond it. I would be interested to know how many other books Wilder felt needed a disclamer. For example, I wonder if Wilder published a Bible, would it insert a disclamer? What about a copy of the Koran? What about The Communist Manifesto?
