1 out of 5 stars Pretty darn sad.   June 20, 2010
Patrice Meseck
"This book is a product of its time and does not reflect the same values as it would if it were written today. Parents might wish to discuss with their children how views on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and interpersonal relations have changed since this book was written before allowing them to read this classic work."

Clearly the people that put this out are among those trying to change our country to something it wasn't meant to be.

I'll stick with the original version of the constitution with no rediculous disclaimers.

The notes and comments added to these historic founding documents are despicable. As a veteran of the USAF who fought to protect and defend our Constitution, I'll never buy a thing from Wilder Publications and ask that all patriotic Americans do the same. Let's all band together and put these creeps out of business.

This version is fine. It is 2010 and a publisher has the common sense to state what is obvious-a centuries old document that doesn't object to slavery might be offensive to reasonable Americans, and even some white Americans.

Only American white supremacists, OF WHICH THERE ARE MILLIONS, would find this to be so objectionable.

1 out of 5 stars Warning: The Constitution is still relevant   June 15, 2010

The Publisher of this book (Wilder Publications) should be tried and hung for Treason for adding the comment below to the book. It may be time to take back the Government from the corrrupt politicians and restore the Constitution to the Rule of Law. The November elections are coming, and there will be some surprises for the corrupt politicians. They know who they are, and they will be unemployed soon.

I will spend my money with a company that respects the constitution, I am an avid bibliophile and have a book collection that rivals many libraries but never will any book published by this company be a part of that.
