Fully revised to reflect the latest new information, CREATING A WEB SITE: THE MISSING MANUAL is simply packed with details on how to create a website from beginning to end, from using style sheets and gaining cash from Google ads and affiliate programs to tracking victors, identifying their interests, promoting the site with a blog and much more. All the basics are here in easily-understood language characteristic of the ever-popular 'missing manual' format, making it a top pick for any library offering general computer guides.

A very good manual where things are explained as coming from one that really knows addressing almost every reader level of understanding

I am working with my daughter on a website for a family business.
My knowledge is rudimentary. My daughter has been a professional website designer for many years.
This book is of great help to both of us.

Yes, I'm a fan of the Missing Manual series. No, I am not affiliated with O'Reilly books. But, I like their stuff. I haven't seen anything less than good yet. In fact, everything I've seen is great! This one is no different. And, as long as software companies supply online help en masse, or give you a file on the disk, this series will shine. Creating a Web Site is no exception...

This is a good reference book. However, if you know nothing about creating web sites it may be of little use. Also, if you wish to start a blog or a blogging business, this book is NOT for you! It only talks about [...], which is so easy to use it hardly deserves a chapter.
