THE book for people looking to found a startup August 30, 2010 Bjoern Loved reading this book and had a hard time putting it down. It is full of valuable tips and tricks for people looking to start their own company.
Pretty sure I am going to read this book again in a few months!
An amazing read August 29, 2010 D. Ivovich (East Coast USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you are in technology, customer service, management, really business in general, you should read this book. Managers should read this book, VPs should read this book, CEOs should read this book. Everyone at the bottom of the organization should read this book. Simple, straight forward inspiration for changing the way you think about work and your job, changing your approach to your products and your to-do list. I can't recommend this enough. A great book, powerful and inspiring. Read it!
An upside-down and inside-out perspective on business and management August 29, 2010 Salvatore Saieva (NY / NJ / CT, USA) The authors describe Rework as a business book. If you decide to read it, which you should, then get ready to take everything you've read and learned about business, turn it upside-down on it's head and inside-out.
You'll come away with a completely different perspective on long term planning, resource and funding constraints, management and delegation, organizational culture, competitive strategy, customer service, and several other topics.
Rework is different, which is what makes it refreshing, interesting, and exciting. There are dozens of good ideas and principles described in the book that are waiting to be applied in new and unique ways to traditional business settings.
You can find book notes for Rework at my blog address.

Great book for the realities of working in a successful software company in 2010 August 24, 2010 Craig Dickson (Orange County, California) Great book from the creator of Ruby On Rails, about how companies (in particular software companies) need to start operating to survive in 2010 and beyond. Highly recommended, and I don't even like Ruby all that much!
Disappointed August 23, 2010 C. F. Birch (minneapolis, MN) The author's view of "Rework" on the TODAY SHOW enticed me toward a different book than I found when I bought it. Thought it missed "his mark" by a wide margin.
