Concise, thoughtful and a worthwhile 45 minutes worth of reading. Deceivingly simple, much deeper than its few rules, and less costly than a prescription Co-Pay, Pollan sums up guidelines to live by better than most Doctor's orders.

Easy to read, great information and advice for anyone. I went on to read 'An Omnivore's Dilemma' which was very interesting as well. This man has information that can save our lives/planet if we listen.

For a book so small, this one is filled with lots of wonderful, logical information. I recommend this to all of us who are interested in a simple, healthful lifestyle. I am very pleased. Also, gave one as a gift.

I read it and then bought a dozen copies to give away. It is everything you need to know about food if you want to live better and longer. Reading time is less than an hour, but I would suggest you savor it. Good for anyone old enough to buy fast food ... and to learn why it may not be such a good idea.

This book is a quick guide to basic ways of eating.
I teach health and go over one or two rules a day.
Set up as an easy read with few words, it has a very important message.
