Food Rules Rules!! March 8, 2010 Victor Scott (Online) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
What I love about Food Rules is that it is short enough to read in one sitting and it cuts straight to the point.
This book is filled with concrete advice that I can use today.
Even though I have read Michael Pollan's other books, I still found several ideas that where new to me.
Food Rules goes great with the book Cook This Not That.
Keep in mind this is more of a "Quick Study" guide, not a novel. If that is what you want check out Pollan's other books.
But since it is a short guide that can be read in one sitting I plan on reading it every now and again to refresh my memory.

The Best Book To Discover the Hidden Truths of Healthy Eating! March 8, 2010 Biran Sefar (Gooding, ID United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Michael Pollan has become one of our favorite authors because his writing is based upon thorough research; he has a keen sense of humor; and he writes cleanly and concisely in a way that makes any topic easily accessible to any reader. This book is short, sweet, and to the point. As a matter of fact, if one simply reads the chapter titles and learns them, one can automatically "grok" the nutritional advice of the chapter. Buy this book now. Following its directives will immensely improve the overall of health of everyone in homes graced by its prescence.
Great Food Truths March 8, 2010 Steve in Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The book is both informative and entertaining. Yes some is comon sense and common knowledge. But the way info is presented works well. We all need inspiration and reminders in the ever challenging world of food and fake food of today.
should be required reading in school! March 8, 2010 Marion J. Theysohn (colorado springs) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Well it all just makes sense........lets start eating real food again........I almost believe that all the problems with young children today (besides lack of exercise) is due to all the "JUNK" put into their mouths. Parents wake up......money isnt everything, but taking care of your family is......
